Web Developer job in Roanoke Times

Roanoke College’s Department of Information Technology (IT) is seeking a qualified individual to fill the full-time position of Web Developer/Database Analyst. This position requires knowledge of and experience with design, development and maintenance of web-based interactive software applications utilizing tools such as Java, Coldfusion, JSP, ASP, C++, Javascript, VBScript, HTML and XML. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Crystal Reports. Responsibilities include working with the Administrative Systems Team & the Web Team to assist in the management of the college’s administrative systems, website and web applications.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in a computer-related field or a degree in another field combined with extensive work experience in the IT field. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities are required along with project management skills and experience. Also required are the ability to work effectively as part of a team environment and excellent customer service and communication skills.

Prepress Job in Roanoke Times

PREPRESS GRAPHIC ARTIST
Growing Direct Mail production facility has an immediate need for a Prepress Graphic Artist. Responsibilities include preparing customer art files for print production using current MAC software such as Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, etc. Direct Mail production experience preferred, but not required. Creative and design experience is a plus.
PROJECT MANAGER
Are you a professional individual with strong customer service skills? Our company is expanding and creating new employment opportunities.
