More good fruit from DesignFruit

More good fruit from DesignFruitJason Gaylor as giving this stuff away - but there was no way that was going to last forever - he is still creating some great looking and useful goodies though - including these baroque borders.

The Wise Photoshop CS3 upgrader

From Photoshop Insider: "Adobe made a subtle change to their upgrade policy for Photoshop CS3, which won't affect most of us, but if you're working on pretty old version of Photoshop (like Photoshop 6.0, 5.5, etc.) I'll be able to save you some money getting to CS3 if you move quickly. You see, previous Adobe let anyone with any registered version of Photoshop (even Photoshop 2.0, etc.) upgrade to the latest version by just paying the regular upgrade price. But as of the release of Photoshop CS3, you'll only be able to upgrade at the standard upgrade price, if you have Photoshop 7, CS, or CS2. So, if you're still using Photoshop 6.0 or earlier (and some people still are) here's what I'd recommend; upgrade to Photoshop CS2 now (you'll pay something around $169), then you can buy the upgrade to CS3 when it comes out at the regular upgrade price which will save you literally hundreds of dollars over having to the buy the full version once CS3 ships."

5 ways to stop being late

From Brazen Careerist - here's one:
5. Be honest with yourself.
Why do you let yourself be late? It is disrespectful and makes you look unorganized and out of control. Why are you not getting control over your time. So much about being on time is actually about self-knowledge. Often, we are scared to make the decisions that we must make in order to get control over our time and become someone who runs on schedule. But there is no other way to run a life. To run on schedule is to plan the life you want to live and execute that plan.

Honda Cog Ad - how did I never see this?

Took over 600 takes to shoot - but the final product is the combination of two takes where all of the parts worked together to create the ad. There is virtually no CG in the finished product (only an adjustment of the lighting in the final car) and no trick photography. In other words the team who put this together are completely wacked out of their heads.

Adobe - CS3 is coming, and so is their magazine.

Adobe MagazineNow that Adobe has announced the impending launch of CS3 on March 27th (Which is especially great news for anyone who has been using CS2 or older versions on a MacBook or other Intel Mac - since CS3 will be the first versions of Adobe's Creative Suite that will operate natively on the Intel macines - and I'm here to tell you - that junk is SLOW running through rosetta) - they've also released a digital magazine - click the image to the left to download a copy for yourself - looks pretty great.
